I admire its usage

She used it with gleeful malice
Odo on Deep Space Nine was more reticent
His weary face implied a burden
Nature or nurture
It's hard to know the derivation
I expect maternal misery is a factor
Or possibly existential angst
At this point of the game
Well into the fourth quarter
I've made my peace with it
Just like
It's hard to question the need for oxygen
That thing that keeps you alive
